On 31st August 2024, AHS UP led by Medical Technology team brought students and staff to engage with community at PaFak subdistrict, Maejai, Phayao. The event was a part of a community service scheme which aimed to support 4th year students for on-site practices. This event provided opportunities for students to showcase their skills and knowledge for real life situations such as communication skills, team-based works and attitude skills. Following the survey data by the team, community health issues were assessed and evaluated. These problems were infectious diseases, parasitic infections and tuberculosis. In this regard, the team performed community services such as screening tests for infectious markers and counselling services. The data was then transferred to the designated health centre to perform a further follow-up task for villagers in the regions.
