BCA researchers continue to advance the research project on improving the community’s economy in commercializing frog farming supported.

The seminar (as part of the 2023 Phayao Provincial Administrative Organization supporting frog farming project) for educating and exchanging knowledge between lecturers and frog farmers was held at the Three-generation Center, Ban Pong School, Ban Mai Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. Researchers from the School of Business and Communication Arts, led by Dr. Warach Mathayombutus, director of PhD Program in Tourism and Hotel Management, and Dr. Niramon Phomnil, lecturer in the Tourism and Hotel Management program, continue to develop the ecological value chain project with innovative sustainable frog production through creative, commercial, community building, and innovation aiming for Phayao to become a food capital city. The speakers for this seminar also include Assistant Professor Dr. Kriangkrai Seetaphan and Associate Professor Dr. Sittisak Pinmongkolkul from the University of Phayao.

 

The topics discussed in this seminar include: “Creating community innovators in commercializing frog farming” by Dr. Niramon Phomnil, “Frog Processing to Enter the New Market for the Community’s Sustainable Development” by Dr. Warach Mathayombutus, “Supplements for Frogs to Enhance Production Capacity” by Assistant Professor Kriangkrai Seetaphan, and “Standards for Commercial Frog Farming through Frog Smart Farming System” by Associate Professor Dr. Sittisak Pinmongkolkul. The project has received a continuation of support to the year 2023 on developing the ecological value chain project with innovative sustainable frog production in aiming for Phayao to become a food capital city. This project has about 40 participants.
