School of Education Hosts Teacher Enhancement & Professional Development Project

On March 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., the School of Education implemented the Project on Teacher Enhancement and Professional Development Activities in accordance with the Professional Standards of the Teachers Council of Thailand, Activity 2, entitled “Promotion of Scout Activities and Recreational Leadership,” which was held at Room UB004, the 99th Anniversary Building of Phra Ubali Khunupamajarn, University of Phayao. On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the dean of the School of Education, was the president to open the project, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Supphaso and Ms. Metika Lertpatthama, Assistant Deans, as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Wannakorn Pornprasert, a lecturer in the field of Educational Measurement and Evaluation, the Head of Work, supporting staff, the School of Education Student Association, and the First-year students of the School of Education, participated in the activity in an orderly and unified manner. The activity was honored by Mr. Kritsada Yarin, a Senior Professional Level Teacher from Tessaban 1 School (Phayao Prachanukul), who served as a guest speaker, delivering lectures on “The Importance of Scouting Education” and “The Significance and Necessity of Scout Training.” These topics constitute essential knowledge in enhancing understanding of the role of scouting activities in holistic student development. The project aimed to equip first-year students of the School of Education with knowledge and understanding of the importance of scouting as a comprehensive process for learner development, encompassing physical, mental, intellectual, and moral dimensions. It also sought to raise awareness of the significance and necessity of scout training in enhancing individual potential, as well as enabling students to appropriately apply such knowledge in instructional management. Furthermore, the activity promoted positive attitudes toward scouting and encouraged active and quality participation in organizing scouting activities. This initiative is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
