On April 9, 2026, Associate Professor Supakorn Pongbangpho, Ph.D.President, University of Phayao, together with Associate Professor Montra Pongnil, Ph.D.Dean, School of Political and Social Science, participated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic collaboration in social development administration, research, and local development. The agreement was established in partnership with a network of 14 higher education institutions at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Bangkok.

The collaboration aims to enhance academic capacity, promote teaching and learning, advance research and local development, and support the development of students and academic staff. It also encourages knowledge exchange and fosters a strong network among Thai higher education institutions.

This milestone marks a significant step for the University of Phayao in expanding national-level academic collaboration, reinforcing its role as a hub for knowledge creation and research. The initiative is expected to contribute to sustainable social and local development in the future.
