25th Medical Technology–Allied Health Sciences Games

The Student Union of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, led a delegation of student-athletes to participate in the 25th Medical Technology–Allied Health Sciences Games, held under the theme “Together in Gownity, Stronger in Game,” from 7–8 February 2026 at Chulalongkorn University. This participation transcended the bounds of athletic competition, serving instead as a compelling articulation of the University of Phayao student identity, presented with clarity and purpose through three defining dimensions—aesthetics, character, and health—seamlessly unified to convey the dignified and dynamic spirit of Allied Health Sciences students.

This identity was expressed through a thoughtfully curated array of activities, including the ceremonial parade, athletic competitions, recreational programs, and the spirited presence of the cheering section. Together, these elements demonstrated unity, creativity, and collective pride in being students of the University of Phayao, set against a national stage that convened Allied Health Sciences students from higher education institutions across the country.

The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Prof.Dr.Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University. The event constituted a significant forum for the convergence of student energies from diverse institutions, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie, solidarity, and professional pride through sporting competitions, creative cheering activities, and vibrant color-themed events.

In competitive terms, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, fielded teams in three sports disciplines—football, volleyball, and badminton—achieving commendable results by advancing to the quarterfinals in all categories. Beyond these achievements, the outcomes reflected a robust health-oriented student identity, complemented by sportsmanship, humanistic values, and an aesthetic sensibility that underscores graceful coexistence within society.

Participation in this initiative aimed to cultivate positive interpersonal relationships, promote systematic teamwork, and enhance communication skills both within athletic teams and among students across faculties and universities. Through processes of planning, dialogue, and shared decision-making, students strengthened the foundations of effective teamwork. Moreover, team sports functioned as a vital mechanism for instilling shared responsibility, unity, and mutual respect, all directed toward achieving common goals.

Furthermore, the event provided a creative platform for students to co-design cheering activities and cohesively present the image and identity of University of Phayao students. This endeavor underscores the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences’ role in fostering holistic student development—encompassing physical, mental, social, and ethical dimensions—thereby nurturing graduates of quality and character, prepared to serve as pivotal contributors to the sustainable advancement of Thai society.
