Engineering UP Drives a Prototype for High-Competency Workforce Development an Innovative Industrial Robotics Curriculum for Next-Generation Manufact
    

School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Nuttanon Pongpanit, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Industrial Partnership Development, participated in the presentation entitled “Management Strategies to Enhance Production Efficiency through the Application of Fundamental Industrial Robotics Knowledge” This initiative serves as a prototype of deep collaborative engagement aimed at developing a high-competency workforce to meet the demands of Industry 4.0.

The presentation was delivered as part of the New-Generation Graduate Development Prototype Project Award Competition (Curriculum Category), organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The event was held on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at Diamond Dome 2, 22nd Floor, Queensland Hotel, Bangkok.

This platform also provided a significant opportunity for School of Engineering, University of Phayao, to foster collaborative networks and engage in knowledge exchange on the production and development of a high-competency workforce. More than ten projects from higher education institutions nationwide were presented, reflecting the strategic direction of Thai higher education toward responding effectively to technological transformation and an innovation-driven economy. Moreover, the initiative aligns with national policies on future workforce development and supports Thailand’s transition toward a digitally driven industrial society.
