The School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao (UP), extends its heartfelt congratulations on the occasion that Professor Emeritus Dr. Thares Srisatit, Honorary Doctorate recipient of the University of Phayao for the Academic Year 2023, and Associate Professor Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, Dean of the School of Energy and Environment, have been appointed by the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King’s Patronage (EIT) to serve on the Environmental Engineering Committee for the term B.E. 2569–2571 (2026–2028), as follows:

1. Professor Emeritus Dr. Thares Srisatit — Chair of the Environmental Engineering Committee

2. Associate Professor Dr. Torpong Kreetachat — Member of the Environmental Engineering Committee

These appointments reflect the extensive knowledge, expertise, and nationally recognized experience of both distinguished scholars, who have continuously devoted themselves to teaching, research, and academic services to society. Their dedication has brought pride and distinction to the UP.

The SEEN is firmly confident that their roles and responsibilities within the structure of the EIT will serve as a key mechanism in advancing and strengthening professional standards in environmental engineering in Thailand, while also enhancing the academic capacity and international reputation of the UP in a supportable manner.
