On Saturday, 29 November 2025, the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Civil Engineering (Special Program) School of Engineering University of Phayao, Cohort 1, presented an educational scholarship to Ban Bo Bia School, Chiang Kham District, Phayao Province. The scholarship was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Apichat Buakla, Deputy Dean for Administration and Special Affairs, who represented the program’s alumni. The scholarship was formally received by Mr. Channarong Supha, Director of Ban Bo Bia School, as part of the volunteer initiative “Supporting Children in Rural Phayao”, aimed at promoting educational equity and strengthening local communities.

The scholarship aims to support students with limited access to educational resources and to cultivate a sense of social responsibility among current students and alumni. This initiative underscores the Civil Engineering Program’s commitment to academic service, local development, and the enhancement of the quality of life of young people in rural areas.

Moving forward, the Special Program in Civil Engineering will continue to advance community-focused activities in various forms to ensure meaningful and sustainable benefits for local communities and youth in Phayao Province. These ongoing efforts also seek to foster greater awareness among students of the critical role engineers play in driving long-term societal development.
