On 6 September 2025, the Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Program, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, organized the “Mechanical Engineering Sports Day 2025” at Chom Park Football Field. The event aimed to strengthen bonds among School members and students across all academic years, reflecting the School’s vision of producing engineers who are not only academically proficient but also capable of effective communication, collaboration, and continuous self-development.
The activity went beyond athletic competition—it served as a platform for building unity, promoting student well-being, and encouraging a balanced lifestyle that integrates both academic pursuits and physical activity. It further highlighted the School’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment that nurtures resilience, teamwork, and holistic growth.
Aligned with the School’s strategic plan to develop future-ready graduates and consistent with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4: Quality Education), the initiative underscored the importance of experiential learning alongside rigorous academic training. Within the Mechanical Engineering Program, students not only receive strong professional education but also benefit from vibrant co-curricular activities designed to cultivate both technical expertise and essential interpersonal skills.
Through initiatives such as this Sports Day, the University of Phayao reaffirms its mission to prepare high-quality mechanical engineers who are knowledgeable, collaborative, and ready to thrive in a competitive global environment.
