Recipients of the Royal Scholarship for the Kingdom of Cambodia had the opportunity to meet with the President of the University of Phayao
           On Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, the Division of Educational Services, in collaboration with the International Relations department, facilitated a meeting between the President of the University of Phayao and six recipients of the Royal Scholarship under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Educational Assistance Project for the Kingdom of Cambodia. This initiative was established under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The six scholarship recipients are as follows:


         School of Agriculture and Natural Resources

         1. Mr. Chhun Phirun – Bachelor of Science Program in Agriculture

         2. Miss Soeung Angie – Bachelor of Science Program in Food Science and Technology


          School of Information and Communication Technology

          1. Miss Lim Kuyinh – Bachelor of Science Program in Information Technology

          2. Miss Meas Rothana – Bachelor of Science Program in Information Technology

          3. Mr. Yut Mouch – Bachelor of Science Program in Information Technology

          4. Miss Ty Channy – Bachelor of Science Program in Information Technology


         The scholars gathered to meet with the university president for their graduation ceremony before returning to their home country, Cambodia. During this special event, the president congratulated the graduates and presented them with commemorative gifts. The meeting took place in the President's Meeting Room, located on the second floor of the Office of the President Building at the University of Phayao.


         Since 2012, the University of Phayao has proudly awarded this scholarship for 14 consecutive years. Over 60 Cambodian graduates have completed their studies and returned to contribute to the development of their home country.
