On January 28, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean of Organizational Administration and Student Quality Development, Assistant Professor Dr. Watchara Jatuporn, the Associate Dean of Research and Academic Services in Area-based, Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Student Teacher Quality Development, the Head of Office, the Head of Work, and supporting staff, participated in the University of Phayao Personnel Sports Competition 2025 under the UP Sport Day & BMI Challenge 2025 project at the University of Phayao stadium. It was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, was the president to open the University of Phayao Personnel Sports Competition 2025. Mr. Somthop Leksing, the Director of the Division of Personnel, was reported the objectives of project.
The personnel sports competition is held annually. The objective were encouraged personnel to exercise, had perfect health, and had a good relationship between personnel which will lead to good health, including inviting personnel to reduce, abandon, and quit drinking alcohol and cigarettes which are risk factors for health, and promote the well-being of personnel. It was divided into 4 colors: blue, yellow, green, and pink, which the School of Education was in blue together with the School of Business and Communication Arts, the School of Law, the School of Political and Social Sciences, the School of Architecture and Fine Art, the School of Liberal Arts, and the Demonstration School University of Phayao. It competed in 8 types of sports, including football, badminton, volleyball, petanque, athletics, chair ball, basketball, and E-Sport, which had started since January 13, 2025.
