School of Allied Health Sciences (AHS), University of Phayao (UP), Internal Quality Assessment (EdPEx) Project, Academic Year 2023

On November 24, 2024, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Phayao University, was honored to have Assistant Professor Dr. Rachda Chaijit, Deputy Dean for Strategic Planning, Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University, preside over the Faculty-level Internal Quality Assessment (EdPEx) committee.  She was joined by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriyaporn Khanthasorn, lecturer at the School of Health Sciences, Mae Fah Luang University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Kannyanart Sunthaprasit, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Phayao University, as committee members.  Dr. Thanatip Khruhayotin from the Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Arts, and Dr. Neeranuch Wongcharoen from the Faculty of Nursing, served as observers.

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences conducted the Faculty-level Internal Quality Assessment (EdPEx) project for the academic year 2023 to enhance the understanding of organizational development based on EdPEx criteria among administrators and personnel. This aims to improve the faculty's operations, striving towards EdPEx 200 in the future and preparing for the faculty-level IQA assessment according to the EdPEx criteria for the academic year 2023.

Following this, Assistant Professor Dr. Puttipong Poncumhak, Dean of the Faculty, along with faculty administrators, led faculty members and staff in a session to review the overall picture and direction of the faculty's development, summarizing the results of the 2022 assessment and recommendations.  The committee then interviewed the administrative team (Dean, Deputy Deans, Assistant Deans, and the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) writing team), followed by interviews with senior, mid-career, and junior faculty and staff.  Finally, the committee met to summarize the preliminary assessment results and provide helpful recommendations for the faculty's future improvements.
