On October 30, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, Dean of the School of Energy and Environment - SEEN and Acting Head of the Greenhouse Gas Management Certification Unit – GMC, the Renewable Energy and Environmental Research Center, University of Phayao - UP, together with the verification team, conducted activities to prepare for the 2024 internal audits. This review aims to ensure that internal operations align with quality and international standards, specifically ISO 14065, for the GMC unit. The actual audit, conducted by an expert committee from the Thai Industrial Standards Institute - TISI and the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) - TGO, will take place on November 20-21, 2024, at the SEEN conference room, University of Phayao.
The Greenhouse Gas Management Certification Unit has a plan to monitor operations through a quality control system covering management processes, verification processes, implementation, as well as quality improvement processes in the provision of standardized greenhouse gas validation and verification services. This is to ensure the highest level of confidence and reliability for clients.
