On August 22nd, 2024, Physical Therapy team from AHS UP led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ajchamon Thammachai, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Community Innovation, visited community centre and home visit at Maeka Toke-wak temple, Maeka subdistrict, Muang Phayao county, Phayao.
This visit was a part of PT community health III which was held for the third time for the entire visits. The primary aim of the event was to encourage students to practice PT skills such as evaluation, diagnosis, prevention, rehabilitation, and health promotion actions corresponding to PT standards.
The event consisted of both holistic approaches and practical skills for PT as well as critical thinking and roles of PT in health care industry. Being PT with high responsibility both for themself and for community as well as service-minded individuals for services are crucial for being a good PT.
Six sub-activities were performed as follows.
1.Bingo and show No Smoking
3.Three Postures Cope with OA Knee
4.Galangal Drink with no alcoholic contents
5.Hypertension: less fear than it might appear
6.Traditional dances bring us together.
On this occasion, 60 villagers and health volunteers attended the activities.
