School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao (AHS UP) hosted a non-degree program for the topic of “Improving caregivers' skills to prevent falls and assist the physical rehabilitation after falls in the elderly” at Maejai County with the primary aim of fall prevention both in terms of care management and preventive purposes. The course consisted of knowledge of factors of falls in elderly, risk assessment of fall, exercise in patients with falling problems and related issues. At this event, 60 staff from the network of Maejai rehabilitation centre had joined the scheme.
