School of Engineering, University of Phayao presented Academic Work on the theme ‘UP Identity Festival #3: Soft Power for Community Empowerment’
On September 5th and 6th, 2023, the School of Engineering at the University of Phayao, led by Dr.Rachaneewan Aunggurabud, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering, together with Miss Kanticha Ratchakhom and Mr. Kantaphong Suwanpoj, participated in the academic event themed ‘UP Identity Festival #3: Soft Power for Community Empowerment.’ The event took place at King Ngam Mueng Auditorium, University of Phayao, with the primary goal of sharing knowledge, innovation and experiences to strengthen collaboration with networks of educational institutions to encourage the mental health and well-being of students.
A variety of educational institutions and groups presented on the event stage, including the network institute of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (Upper Northern Thailand), the network of Student Affairs, the Council of University Administrative Staff of Thailand and the Thai–Laotian Relationship Network. Events included both academic works and storytelling about ‘Soft Power and Mental Health.’ This event provided an opportunity for UP staff to present activities about the development of the identity of UP students (Aesthetics, Personality, and Health).

The School of Engineering received two gold-level awards for the first project, titled ‘Run for Fuang.’
The project on the theme ‘Following the steps of the meeting room’ received honorable mention.
