BCA welcomes and discusses the MOU plan with executives from Marriot Hotel Group Thailand at the School of Business and Communication Arts.

Acting Vice Dean for Corporate Relations and Global Engagement of the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, together with Dr. Nuchanart Muenchan, head of Tourism and Hotel Management Department and Dr. Niramol Promnil, a lecturer in Tourism and Hotel Management, and representatives from Division of Educational Services, the University of Phayao, welcomed and discuss the plan for future cooperation with executives from Marriot Hotel Group Thailand, let by Nantharat Phuthong, Human Resources Director. The meeting aims to establish a partnership between the two parties in designing the curriculum and sending students to internships under the Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) program.

 

Moreover, during the visit, Marriot Hotel Group Thailand set up a booth at the BCA tourism laboratory for recruiting internship students as well as a job opportunity for graduates who are interested in working at Marriot Hotel Group Thailand. There are various job opportunities opened for the graduates (i.e., fourth-year students) including the Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa & Fitness, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and Finance & Accounting. The company also offers the job opportunity for the handicapped to join the team at Marriot Hotel Group Thailand.

 

This visit supports SDGs 1, 4, 5, 8, 10, and 17.
