School of Liberal Arts Joins UP Sport Day & BMI Challenge 2026
Personnel from the School of Liberal Arts participated in the "UP Sport Day & BMI Challenge 2026," a university-wide personnel sports competition. The opening ceremony took place on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the University of Phayao Stadium, organized by the Division of Personnel.
Before the official opening, participants observed a 93-second moment of silence in profound remembrance of the royal grace of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother.
The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, who delivered the opening remarks and handed the ceremonial torch to the gold medalists from the 41st University Personnel Games of Thailand (Tumpang Games 2025) to light the flame.
The competition featured university staff divided into four color teams: Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink. The event fostered a spirit of camaraderie and strengthened relationships among personnel while promoting physical well-being through the BMI Challenge.
