School of Business and Communication Arts Wins Two Awards at UP Identity Festival#6

On 7 September 2026, the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, led by Mr. Kamolphong Rattanasanguanwong, Vice Dean for Student Experience and Quality Development, together with Ms. Thipaphon Ngenyen, Head of Academic Affairs, staff members, and representatives of the School’s Student Club, received two awards and participated in an exhibition at the UP Identity Festival#6, organized by the Division of Student Affairs, University of Phayao, at the Phaya Ngam Mueang Auditorium, University of Phayao.

The UP Identity Festival#6, held as part of the 2026 Knowledge-Sharing Conference on Student Identity Development Activities for Sustainable Development, was organized as a platform for disseminating and exchanging knowledge, practices, and innovations in student identity development activities among personnel across the University of Phayao. The event also aimed to promote knowledge exchange among university units and foster collaborative networks with private-sector enterprises in supporting the development of students’ skills and experiences in response to changes in society and the world of work.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Wuttichai Chairinkham, Vice President for Student Quality, with Mr. Pichet Thukchit, Director of the Division of Student Affairs, delivering the report. The event also featured exhibitions and presentations of innovations in student identity development from various units across the University, providing opportunities to exchange operational approaches and apply knowledge to the continuous development of student activities.

On this occasion, the School of Business and Communication Arts received two awards for its work in student identity development:

1. Honorable Mention Award The BCA Identity: Young Entrepreneur project, under Category 1: Innovation in Student Identity Development. The project focuses on enhancing and developing students’ potential through learning processes and activities related to entrepreneurship.

2. Second Runner-Up Award The BCA TUEGETHER: Participatory Physical and Mental Well-being Care project, under Category 3: Innovation in Student Mental Health Care Systems Development. The project promotes participatory approaches to student care and supports the development of systems aimed at enhancing students’ quality of life in both physical and mental well-being.

The awards recognize the School of Business and Communication Arts’ efforts in developing activities and innovations that strengthen student identity in alignment with sustainable student development. These efforts encompass both the promotion of entrepreneurial potential and the development of participatory systems for student care.

The knowledge and approaches derived from the award-winning projects can serve as a foundation for the continued development of student activities and support systems within the School, while also contributing to knowledge exchange and collaborative learning among various units across the University of Phayao.
