Dr. Ruangrong Suwankarn, Lecturer in the Bachelor of Economics Program, School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, served as a member of the judging committee for the 2026 Capital Market Research Funding Program, organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). The event was held at the Sukree Kaewcharoen Auditorium, 3rd Floor, Building B, Stock Exchange of Thailand, with the aim of promoting and supporting research in capital markets and developing knowledge that can contribute to the advancement of Thailand’s capital market and business sector.

For this year’s award consideration, 10 research projects advanced to the second round. The selected research covered topics aligned with current areas of interest of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, particularly Corporate Value Up through capital market mechanisms and the implementation of the JUMP+ Program, which aims to support listed companies in the Thai stock market in enhancing corporate value, strengthening corporate governance, and creating long-term value for shareholders.

The JUMP+ Program focuses on enhancing the value of listed companies through three key dimensions:

Growth - Promoting sustainable growth and enhancing long-term value for listed companies.

Governance - Strengthening corporate governance standards and improving organizational governance practices.

Green - Promoting greenhouse gas management and sustainable business operations.

The judging committee for the SET Capital Market Research Award comprises representatives from the Stock Exchange of Thailand, capital market business operators, and participating higher education institutions, with one representative from each institution. The committee is responsible for assessing the quality and suitability of research projects advancing to the final judging stage.

The awards comprise five main awards and two special awards, including the Corporate Value Enhancement Research Award and the Young Rising Star Award, recognizing research contributions and emerging researchers in the field of capital markets.

The participation of personnel from the School of Business and Communication Arts as members of the judging committee reflects the School’s role in promoting and supporting the application of knowledge in economics and finance, as well as strengthening collaboration between academia, the capital market, and the business sector. Such engagement contributes to the development of the capabilities of listed companies and supports the continued advancement of Thailand’s capital market in a quality-driven and sustainable manner.

On this occasion, the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, extends its congratulations to the participating institutions, researchers, and award recipients of the 2026 Capital Market Research Funding Program. The School also recognizes the valuable contributions of the research projects toward advancing knowledge and supporting the continued development of Thailand’s capital market.
