On 5 May 2026, Dr. Wanawan Prakot, Head of the Environmental Testing Laboratory Center (ETLC), School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao (UP), represented the University in receiving the official license to provide workplace environmental measurement and analysis services covering lighting, noise, and heat levels. The license was granted in accordance with the Ministerial Regulation on Standards for Administration, Management, and Operation of Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment related to Lighting, Noise, and Heat (B.E. 2559 [2016]), together with the Ministerial Regulation on Registration and Licensing for Service Providers Promoting Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment (B.E. 2554 [2011]), issued by the Bureau of Occupational Safety, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare.
The ETLC, is a registered and certified unit authorized to conduct measurement and analysis of workplace conditions related to lighting, noise, and heat. Equipped with internationally standardized instruments and staffed by qualified experts, the unit is fully prepared to provide professional services and technical guidance to enhance safety standards in enterprises and industrial facilities.
