Law students from the School of Law, University of Phayao, competing under team “Trassaru,” have successfully advanced to the Top 5 teams at the institutional level in the Startup Thailand League 2026 and will move on to the regional competition at Chiang Mai University.

The team members include:

  • Ms. Marisa Paipiwchai, 3rd-year Law student
  • Ms. Chananthorn Chaisorn, 3rd-year Law and English student
  • Ms. Supaporn Phetjakhan, 3rd-year Law and Accounting student

The competition, now in its 10th edition, is organized by the Innovation and Technology Transfer Institute of the University of Phayao in collaboration with Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, National Innovation Agency, and Startup Thailand. It aims to provide students with opportunities to develop innovative ideas and transform them into real-world business ventures.

The team presented “TRASUS,” a legal research platform designed for students, legal professionals, and researchers. The platform features a comprehensive and accurate database, integrating Thai–English legal terminology, statutory provisions, and Supreme Court judgments into a single interface, while ensuring secure and user-friendly access.

This accomplishment reflects the strong capability of University of Phayao students in creating impactful innovations and advancing to higher levels of competition.
