Division of Educational Services (International Relations) at the University of Phayao Organizes the "Enhancing Researcher Potential for the International Stage" Project on the Topic: “Crafting a Competitive Fulbright Research Proposal”

University of Phayao, led by the Division of Educational Services (International Relations), conducted an activity under the project Enhancing Researcher Potential for the International Stage, titled “Crafting a Competitive Fulbright Research Proposal.” The event aimed to prepare researchers for writing international grant proposals. Assistant Professor Dr. Chonlatid Thephinlap, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony, emphasizing the university's policy to drive the institution forward through high-quality research. The event took place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Bovorn Rattanaprasit Meeting Room, President's Office Building.

The primary objective of this activity was to develop skills and strategies for writing effective research proposals that meet international standards, with a specific focus on techniques for securing Fulbright grants. The session featured distinguished guest speaker Professor Dr. Timothy E. O’Brien from Loyola University Chicago, USA, who shared his knowledge and direct experience.

A total of 30 faculty members and researchers from various faculties attended the event. The atmosphere was filled with constructive knowledge exchange, marking a significant step in empowering university personnel to create academic works and research capable of competing at the international level.
