Japanese Language Students from the School of Liberal Arts Interviewed for International Cooperative Education Program 2025
On Friday, August 29, 2025, Japanese language students from the School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao participated in an online interview session with Mr. Kenji Tokunaga, Managing Director of Recruiting Notes Communications Co., Ltd., a representative of partner organizations in Japan. The interviews were conducted via an online platform at the multipurpose classroom (CE13401), School of Liberal Arts, as part of the selection process for the 2025 International Cooperative Education Program.
Dr. Ittiphol Buayoi, Assistant Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, was present to oversee and ensure the smooth conduct of the interview process.
A total of 18 students from the Japanese program who met the program’s qualifications were shortlisted for the interviews. Those selected will have the opportunity to undertake international cooperative education placements in Japan from December 2025 to March 2026. The placements will take place at 14 partner organizations in Japan, with whom the University of Phayao has signed Memoranda of Understanding.
This international cooperative education initiative represents a significant step in enhancing students’ linguistic proficiency, cultural understanding, and professional experience in a global setting. Moreover, it fosters strong professional networks between the University of Phayao and Japanese industries key to preparing students for success in an increasingly globalized workforce.
