On Monday, July 7, 2025 School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Apichat Buakla, Associate Dean for Administration and Special Affairs, along with operational instructors and staff members, organized the “Buddhist Lent Candle Offering Project” at Wat Ban So, Mae Na Ruea Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. The activity aimed to uphold and preserve Buddhist traditions, foster moral values, and promote ethical behavior among students and university personnel.

      The School of Engineering understands the significance of maintaining Buddhism and safeguarding Thailand’s valuable cultural traditions. Accordingly, the Buddhist Lent Candle Offering Project was launched to promote engagement in Buddhist practices, cultivate generosity, and encourage the development of moral and ethical principles. This effort seeks not only to protect treasured cultural customs but also to enhance religious consciousness and foster a community-minded spirit among the school members.
