On April 29, 2025, Research and Academic Services Center, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, welcomed Ms. Kanokporn Na Lampang and her team from the Phayao Skill Development Office to discuss the accreditation of the center as a national testing unit for CAD (Computer-Aided Design) skills.
The visit included a tour of the proposed testing facility and marked a step forward in strengthening workforce capabilities in the region. Once accredited, the center will offer CAD Level 1 certification under the National Skill Standard—boosting job opportunities and supporting career advancement in fields like CAD/CAM engineering and mechanical design.
This initiative reflects the School’s vision: “To be a leading source of engineering education for industry and the community.”
