
The School of Science, University of Phayao, through Sports and Exercise Science Program, in collaboration with the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Personnel Development, Department of Physical Education, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, organized the "Basic Teqball and Athletics Coach Training Program for Fiscal Year 2025" from March 10-14, 2025, at the School of Science, University of Phayao.
The opening ceremony was held on March 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and was presided over by Mr. Panupan Iam-Ubonwan, Phayao Provincial Tourism and Sports Officer. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sittisak Pinmongkhonkul, Dean of the School of Science, University of Phayao, Dr. Chaiyos Kraikruan, Director of the Sports Coach Development Group, Institute of Physical Education and Sports Personnel Development, Department of Physical Education, and the organizing committee and speakers also attended the event.
The training program had 86 participants, divided into 43 teqball coaches and 43 athletics coaches. The program aimed to promote and develop sports personnel to meet national standards, enabling them to effectively develop youth and the general public. This aligns with the 7th National Sports Development Plan (2023-2027), which focuses on enhancing the capabilities of sports personnel to meet international standards.
This collaboration reinforces the mission of the School of Science, University of Phayao, to cooperate with national organizations to enhance the capabilities of personnel and students in the Sports and Exercise Science Program. This ensures they have the knowledge, abilities, and up-to-date skills necessary to apply in their work and contribute to the sustainable development of the country's sports industry.
