The Student Affairs and Academic Affairs Division of School of Engineering University of Phayao, in partnership with the Engineering Music Club, is hosting the second annual GearFest SS.2 music festival. The event will be held on January 29, 2025, at the faculty’s activity plaza. This festival will feature student bands from first to fourth-year engineering students, offering an unforgettable musical experience. Attendees can enjoy a lively atmosphere with live performances, vibrant lighting, stunning visual effects, food stalls, and glow sticks, creating an exciting and unforgettable evening.
School of Engineering recognizes the dedication of its students and has thus supported the creation of the GearFest SS.2 project. This initiative provides a platform for members of the Engineering Music Club to fully express their musical talents and create meaningful opportunities. Additionally, it aims to enhance students' abilities in organizing activities and improve the effectiveness of extracurricular programs within the Faculty of Engineering. The event also promotes students' identity in areas of aesthetics, health, and personality, aligning with the university’s first strategic goal of preparing and developing individuals with the competencies and skills for the future. The ultimate objective is to ensure students lead a healthy, balanced, and happy life (Wellness and Happiness).
