The University of Phayao recently organized a volunteer street cleaning event in Ban Tha Wang Khwai, located in the Mae Tam Muang Chum Community of Phayao Province.

On September 9th, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, the President of the University of Phayao, assigned Wuthichai Chairinkam, the Vice President for Student Quality, along with Dr. Jaruwan Poshyananda, the Assistant to the President, and the University of Phayao Social Responsibility to lead over 60 student volunteers in cleaning the streets of Ban Tha Wang Khwai, Mae Tam Muang Chum Community, Mae Tam Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. After the flood situation returned to normal, many areas began their recovery efforts, specifically by cleaning the village roads that had been flooded. This effort was supported by the Phayao Municipality, under the leadership of Mr. Thirasak Sittichainakij, Advisor to the Mayor of Phayao. Personnel from the municipality also contributed by providing water-spraying vehicles. Additionally, residents volunteered to join in this effort.
