School of Political and Social Science held the orientation session for the Freshmen

June 4, 2024, the School of Political  and Social Science and the dean, Associate Professor Montra Pongnil, held the orientation session for the Freshmen at UB 004, Ubali Kunupamjacharn Building, Phayao University. This also had a live broadcast via the Zoom Meeting.

In the morning Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, the president of Phayao University presided over the session of academic preparations and guides to living in campus for the freshmen of 2024 or Class of 14. Dr.Suphakorn welcomed and briefed the freshmen on various aspects of the university which was determined to educate the students and enhance their aptitudes and skills essential for the future. She also introduced the members of the university’s administration and the dean of each school to the freshmen, followed by the preparations for students’ life skills and learning adjustments from schools to university respectively.

In the afternoon the freshmen had the meeting with the school’s administration, both academic and administrative staff and the student club at PKY 2, the Central Building. Those personnel introduced the freshmen the guides to living and study in university, the benefits like the medical benefits, the accesses to library resources and the Student Loan Fund. The meeting was then followed by the lecturers’ self-introductions to the freshmen. The atmosphere was heart-warming, full of smiles and laughter. Furthermore, it was the aim of the School of Political Science and Social Science to encourage the students to henceforth be the respectable members of the communities.
