On June 5-7, 2024, the School of Education corroboration with the School of Education Student Association conducted a project to strengthen faith, commitment, and love for the teaching profession (10th Teacher Seed Camp) episode: Mahanati Road to the path of Guru Wisdom which is part of the activities to enhance teacher competence following the graduate education curriculum by Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean of Planning and Student Quality Development was the president giving a sermon and opening the Teacher Seed Camp, along with the administrators of co-production faculty, lecturers, and the School of Education supporting staff. The objective of this project is to make first-year students have faith, determination, love for the teaching profession, and forge the spirit of being a teacher following the vision “Produce teachers and educational personnel with leading high performance in the country. For sustainable educational innovation of the community to reach the international level” at UB003 meeting room, 99th Phraupali Building and Sanguansermsri Building, the University of Phayao. There will be lecturers giving lectures and organizing activities to provide knowledge and ideas for adjustment for new students to strengthen the identity of “aesthetics, health, personality, and good mental image” and become a professional teacher as follows;
1. Lecture on the topic “Promoting good mental health” by Ms. Thanpitcha Singsathit, Educator, the Student Quality Development Division and Disabled Students, University of Phayao
2. Lecture on the topic “Adaptation within the University of Phayao” by Ms. Kitiya Khiao-ngam, Head of the University of Phayao Volunteer Operations Center, the Student Affairs Division, University of Phayao
3. Lecture on the topic “Administrative Structure of Student Affairs and the roles and responsibilities of students in participating in activities” by Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean of Planning and Student Quality Development, the School of Education, University of Phayao
4. Lecture on the topic “PDCA to plan the lives of modern teaching students” by Assistant Professor Dr. Wasan Sapphasuk, Lecturer in Curriculum and Instruction, and Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, Assistant Dean, the School of Education, University of Phayao
Furthermore, there are also many interesting the School of Education Student Association activities. It is the first project to welcome new students to the School of Education, University of Phayao officially.
