The School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao (UP), in collaboration with the Thai Environmental Engineers Association (EEAT) and the Sustainability Waste Management Association, is implementing a training program on healthcare facility design, wastewater treatment systems, solid waste and hazardous waste management. This initiative aims to seek support from the Environmental Fund, Generation 3, and took place at the Heritage Hotel, Chiang Rai Province, from December 13-14, 2023.
In this the third of training program, the distinguished Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, the Dean of SEEN, delivered a welcoming address to the president of the ceremony honored guests, and the participants. The opening ceremony also featured remarks by Prof. Dr. Thares Srisatit, the President of EEAT. The program covers interesting topics such as engineering design for wastewater treatment systems and construction, composting systems, and community incinerators. Additionally, it includes guidance on seeking budgetary support for construction projects from the Environmental Fund. This training program has attracted significant interest from both public and private sector organizations, with many eagerly participating.
