The School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao, in collaboration with The Environmental Engineering Association of Thailand (EEAT), recently organized a training project for the municipalities and local government organization members focusing on sanitation – 2nd generation. The training revolved around the crucial topic of "Sanitary Design: Wastewater Treatment Systems, Solid Waste, and Sewage, for supporting from the Environment Fund." The opening ceremony was graced by Emeritus Professor Dr. Thares Srisatit, President of EEAT.
Dr. Satawat Tanarat, a lecturer from the Environmental Engineering Program, had the esteemed honor of being a guest speaker. He delivered an enlightening talk centered on the SEEN's short-term course operation plan, which delved into the innovative concept of "Turning Wastewater and Waste to Energy with Anaerobic Process." The event took place on July 26-27, 2023, at the Mandarin Eastville Pattaya hotel and garnered significant interest from sanitation practitioners. The success of this program has prompted plans to conduct similar training for the 3rd generation in the near future.
