A Study Visit to Remember

On June 3, 2023, staff members of Chiang Rai Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tipchan Wongchata, the Director, visited School of Education, Srinakharinwirot University located in Bangkok, Thailand. The delegation received a warm welcome from Asst. Prof. Dr. Chatupol Yongsorn, Head of Department of Education, and other School’s faculty members. The visit was under the “The 2023 Personnel Development Plan” and the “2024 Strategic Planning” of Chiang Rai Campus.
Following the introduction of the host and visiting universities was a friendly and insightful discussion on educational services. Creative designs of curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities were brought up and extensively discussed. Dr. Yongsorn and his colleagues kindly gave tips and examples of how to use social media to cater to the needs and respond to the expectations of their students, majoring in Master of Education (Educational Administration and Management) in particular.
The knowledge and experiences gained from the visit will be used to engage not only the public but also the past, present, and future students of Chiang Rai Campus. As Chiang Rai Campus also offers a master’s degree program in educational management, the eye-opening study visit to Srinakharinwirot University, our counterpart, was largely impressive and thought-provoking.
