The school of Business and Communication Arts (BCA)’s researchers - Dr. Warach Madhyamapurush and Dr. Niramol Promnil gave a progress presentation on the research project “The community development on commercialized frog farming for improving the community’s economy in an alignment of the Sufficiency Economy Principles.” The project involves developing new innovators in community frog farming for a sustainable community economy. Over the course of 6 months since the project commenced, the community has gained an increased number of frog farming innovators. The cost of frog farming has declined by 54.5%, with a higher quality of frog feed. The project also encompasses food processing, from local food to ready-to-eat and frozen food, resulting in the slogan “frog farming reduces cost with higher income and builds food security” for Phayao province.
The research project supports SDGs 1, 2, 4, 8, 11, 12, and 17.
