On September 6, 2026, the School of Science, University of Phayao held a staff development program for its personnel at the Novotel Chiang Mai Nimman Journey Hub in Chiang Mai. The program was designed to build the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to work effectively in today's digital and AI-driven world, while also supporting staff career growth and helping them move up to higher positions.
One of the biggest highlights of this program was all about becoming a Data-Driven Organization. The School of Science is really focused on helping its support staff keep up with technology, so as part of the program, there was a special presentation session called "Data Management through Dashboard Systems by Support Staff of the School of Science." This session showcased how digital technology and data analytics can turn raw data into valuable insights through visual dashboards tools that make it so much easier to track performance, evaluate efficiency, analyze trends, and most importantly, give the school's management team a powerful tool for making accurate, timely policy and strategic decisions.
On top of that, the program also took a holistic approach to developing both academic and support staff, featuring special talks from two respected speakers on two key topics:

"Strengthening Research Ethics" by Associate Professor Dr. Sitthisak Pinmongkhonkul, Dean of the School of Science. This session aimed to raise awareness and emphasize the importance of accuracy and transparency in producing high-quality academic work and research that meets international standards.

"Promoting Code of Conduct for University of Phayao Personnel" by Associate Professor Dr. Ekasiddh Wongrat, Chairman of the University of Phayao Staff Council and lecturer in the Physics program, this talk focused on building shared values, discipline, and ethics to help everyone work together happily and professionally.
Overall, this program really shows how committed the School of Science, University of Phayao is to prepare its people with well-rounded skills to handle the changes coming with the AI era, all while keeping strong ethics and integrity at the core, driving the organization toward excellence.
