On the evening of Saturday, September 5, 2026, the School of Science, University of Phayao led by Associate Professor Dr. Sitthisak Pinmongkhonkul, Dean of the School of Science, along with the executive team and faculty members headed to Chiang Mai International Airport to see off and give words of encouragement to the school's student representatives before they boarded their flight to Taiwan. The students are participating in the "Global Competence and Multicultural Skills Development Program for University of Phayao Students Abroad 2026."
The two outstanding students selected for this prestigious scholarship program are

Ms. Prakaikaew Wongchaya, a 3rd-year Biology student recipient of the Type 1 Scholarship (fully funded by the University of Phayao).

Ms. Uangsiri Chaimeng, a 3rd-year Exercise and Sport Science student recipient of the Type 2 Scholarship (50% co-funded by the University of Phayao and 50% by the School of Science, University of Phayao).
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitthisak Pinmongkhonkul congratulated and commended both students for their hard work and remarkable achievements, noting that they are a true source of pride for the School of Science. He also wished them a safe and successful journey, encouraging them to gain valuable knowledge, enhance their language skills, and embrace multicultural experiences to foster personal growth.
