On 8 July 2026, the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, represented by Dr. Piyapong Supanyo, Associate Dean for Research Innovation and Network Development, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Prakobsiri Phakdeepinit, a lecturer in the Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hotel Management, participated in the Research Progress Monitoring Meeting for projects funded by the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMU-C). The meeting reviewed the progress of research projects funded during the 2023–2025 funding period.
The meeting was organized to monitor research progress and provide a platform for researchers to present their project achievements to Dr. Anchan Chomphuphuang, Deputy Director of the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMU-C), Office for Research and Innovation Acceleration for Competitiveness and Regional Development (Public Organization). The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Samur Thanoi, Vice President for Research and Innovation, University of Phayao.
During the presentation, the research team shared the progress and outcomes of research projects aimed at generating knowledge and innovative solutions to strengthen regional development. The presentations highlighted tangible research outcomes that have generated measurable economic impacts within the target areas, while demonstrating the practical application of research findings to enhance the country's competitiveness in a concrete and sustainable manner. These accomplishments underscore the University's commitment to advancing research excellence and translating knowledge into meaningful societal and regional development.
