Five students from the Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hospitality, School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, participated in an orientation and preparatory program prior to commencing their Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) placements in Chongqing Municipality, People's Republic of China.
The orientation was held at the Management School of Chongqing University of Technology (CQUT) and was honored by the participation of Professor Hui Hong, Chair of the Tourism and Hospitality Program, who delivered a special session on professional practices and shared valuable insights into living and working abroad.
The five participating students and their internship placements are as follows:
Ms. Napassorn Khamnok – InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City
Ms. Namfon Jankorn – The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square
Ms. Pranpriya Charee – The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square
Ms. Phattharaphan Charoensuk – Hyatt Regency Chongqing
Mr. Thanakorn Yuekyen – Hyatt Regency Chongqing and Banyan Tree Yangshuo
In addition, the students have received scholarships to support their studies in Chinese language and culture under the academic partnership between the University of Phayao and Chongqing University of Technology, People's Republic of China.
This initiative reflects BCA's strong commitment to expanding international partnerships and promoting proactive international CWIE opportunities, enabling students to gain global exposure while enhancing their professional competencies and intercultural skills for an increasingly interconnected world.
