The University of Phayao is enhancing the capabilities of its support staff through the “Level 3 Area-Based Development Skills Program,” organized by the Division of Human Resources from May 27 to June 16, 2026, at the university’s Active Learning Room.
The program was officially opened by Professor Samur Thanoi, Ph.D. Vice President for Research and Innovation, who delivered a special lecture on the importance of area-based development and community engagement.
More than 150 support staff members are participating in the training, which combines theoretical learning with field-based practice in communities across Phayao Province. Supported by mentors and Social Return on Investment (SROI) experts, participants will develop skills in community development, social impact assessment, and local innovation.
The initiative aims to prepare support personnel to serve as key contributors in connecting the university with local communities and promoting sustainable development throughout the region.
