School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Apichat Buakla, Chair of the Bachelor of Engineering Program Committee in Civil Engineering (Special Program), together with the program staff, organized the “Professional Study Visit for the Civil Engineering Special Program” from 27 April to 1 May 2026 for fifth-cohort students enrolled in the Civil Engineering Special Program.
The initiative was designed to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of structural engineering while providing opportunities to exchange experiences with industry professionals. In addition, the program enabled students to explore modern engineering innovations and emerging construction technologies, thereby strengthening their professional competencies and supporting their personal and academic development in an effective and practical manner.
During the study visit, students participated in academic and professional learning activities at the SLC Sino–Thai Learning Center in Sai Noi District, Nonthaburi Province, SNT Solution Co., Ltd., and the Bangkok Mall construction project in Bang Na District, Bangkok. The visits provided valuable insights into civil engineering operations, construction project management, and advanced technologies employed in large-scale construction and industrial projects.
Furthermore, relationship-building and team development activities were organized with the participation of professional facilitators from Navy Blue Team, who conducted collaborative learning and leadership enhancement workshops. These activities aimed to cultivate students’ communication skills, leadership abilities, and teamwork competencies, all of which are considered essential attributes for engineering professionals in both current and future professional contexts. The program also helped prepare students to work effectively and collaboratively within real-world professional environments.
