School of Education participated in the New Year Merit-Making Ceremony, celebrating the 16th Anniversary of the University of Phayao
On January 9, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, to participate in the New Year Merit-Making Ceremony and celebrate the 16th Anniversary of the University of Phayao. It was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, was the president in the ceremony to bring auspiciousness and provide moral encouragement to all personnel, while also serving to preserve and promote Lanna cultural traditions. On this occasion, a merit-making ceremony was conducted and dedicated as a royal tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, following her passing, to express deep mourning and to honor her immeasurable grace and benevolence. This activity was aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
