On November 5, 2025, it was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Assistant Dean, and the representative students from the School of Education, who participated in the Smart Culture @ Kwan Phayao Loy Krathong Festival 2025: Connecting Cultures through AI at the King Ngam Muang Monument Stage, Phayao Province, and aimed to promote the preservation and continuation of Phayao’s traditional Loy Krathong festival. It also sought to integrate modern innovation and technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), into the creation and dissemination of local culture on a global scale, under the concept “Connecting Cultures through AI.” This initiative corresponded with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4: Quality Education, promoting equitable access to learning and quality education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, fostering sustainable innovation and technological development, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, enhancing cultural sustainability and community development
