School of Engineering, University of Phayao, extends its sincere congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr.Potejanasak Potejana, a school member of the School of Engineering, on the prestigious honor of being invited by the Tandon School of Engineering, New York University (NYU), United States of America, to participate as an Invited Speaker and present his cutting-edge research on an international academic platform. This recognition underscores the global-standard research capacity of Thai scholars and their growing presence within the international scientific community.
The invited lecture was delivered on 8 December 2025, during which Assistant Professor Dr. Pojanasak Pojana presented his research entitled “Isopropanol-Stamped with Sputter Deposition of Nano-Circular Pt Films on Quartz for Enhanced Plasmonic Absorbance” The study lies at the forefront of nanotechnology and advanced materials research, focusing on the development of platinum nanostructures on quartz substrates through an isopropanol stamping process combined with sputter thin-film deposition. This innovative approach aims to significantly enhance plasmonic absorbance, which constitutes a critical foundation for the advancement of biosensors, optical sensing systems, and modern optoelectronic devices.
