The Department of Physical Therapy, School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, proudly nominated five fourth-year students—Ms. Piyapan Pinitchai, Ms. Paphichaya Wisutmetakul, Ms. Kittikan Munkhong, Mr. Suppanath Phonsin, and Mr. Seddhawut Photikit—to participate in the Young กสส. (Young KSS), Batch 2 Program. This prestigious initiative serves as a national platform for cultivating the potential of physical therapy students from 17 leading academic institutions across Thailand. The program was held from 22–23 November 2025 at the Amari Don Muang Airport Hotel, Bangkok.
During the event, the representatives from the University of Phayao presented their health-promotion initiative titled “Strong Hands Strong Life.” This project underscores the professional significance of physical therapists in patient care, emphasizing the importance of hand-strengthening exercises to enhance functional performance, reduce the risk of hand injuries, and prepare students for the demands of clinical practice. The initiative reflects both the scientific understanding and the professional responsibility expected of future physical therapists.
Participation in this program not only highlights the exceptional capability and dedication of the University of Phayao’s students but also affirms the School of Allied Health Sciences’ unwavering commitment to nurturing graduates who will become key contributors to the physical therapy profession and influential drivers of health advancement within Thai communities—now and into the future.
