in Hanoi-Sapa, Socialist Republic of Vietnam

 

Lecturers, researchers and alumni of Ph.D. in Thai Language, Faculty of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, attended the 5th International Academic Conference 2025 "ASEAN-China Language, Culture and Society", Between 1-3 April 2025 at the Faculty of Language and Tourism, Hanoi Industrial University, Hanoi, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. led by Assoc.Prof.Dr.Warawat Sriyabhaya, Asst.Prof.Pattra Akprasert, Dr.Parichat Phothi, A.J.Shengde Huang. This seminar presented the results of 2 research projects.

Assoc.Prof.Dr.Warawat Sriyabhaya and others presented the research on “Worldviews in Thai-Lao S.E.A. Write Award Short Story Literature”, Research project in the research collaboration between the Faculty of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao and the Faculty of Linguistic, Souphanouvong University, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The research team consists of Assoc.Prof.Dr.Warawat Sriyabhay, Asst.Prof.Pattra Akprasert, Dr.Parichat Phothi, Dr.Nalinpat Mekkriengkrai, A.J.Phon Phengpanya, A.J.Singthaong Pheuphom, A.J.Sudavanh Phommachanh.

Asst.Prof.Pattra Akprasert presented the research on “From Birth to Death: The Symbols that are Present in Lives of Thai People”.

Asst.Prof.Dr.Chasarun Jitkhongkha and others presented the research on “Linguistic Strategies Representing Vietnamese Identity in Novel ‘Rak Nai Maan Fon’ by Prabhassorn Sevikul”.

Dr.Wichetchay Kamonsujja and others presented the research on “Songs of Thao Wessuwan: Presentation Techniques and Roles in Context of Modern Society”.

Dr.Korphong Namwat and others presented the research on “Local Wisdom: The Production of Rock Salt in Bamnet Narong District, Chaiyaphum Province”.

Dr.Praphaiphan Kewkasem and others presented the research on “Tai Nam: A Term for Cooking Process and Phenomenon of Diversity in Local Thai Recipes”.

For the seminar, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mahasarakham University, invited Assoc.Prof.Dr.Warawat Sriyabhaya to be a moderator in the presentation .
