School of Political and Social Sciences holds 2025 alms-giving ceremony ‘Wan Peng Put’

     On February 11, 2025 the School of Political and Social Sciences (SPSS) holds the 2025 midnight alms-giving ceremony ‘Wan Peng Put’ at Mor Kang Tong temple, Moo 1 Maeka district, Amphur Muang, Phayao. The ceremony is initiated by the SPSS dean , Associate Professor Montra Pongnil,  administration , staff and student club along with a number of the students of the University of Phayao. The ceremony is also participated by several public sectors : Phayao’s provincial government , the departments of the University of Phayao and the Subdistrict Administrative Organization.

      The aims of this ceremony are to enhance office’s ethics and good governance from the collaboration with the community and to help preserve and foster art and culture between Mor Kang Tong temple , the University of Phayao and the community. Mor Kang Tong temple furthermore aims to donate the alms in this ceremony to the disadvantaged in Maeka district and the poor students of the University of Phayao.
