School of Engineering, University of Phayao, organized “Knowledge Exchange Seminar on Capacity Building and Professional Development for School Personnel” for its staff members from 20–22 May 2026 at Dusit Princess Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Province. The program was initiated by the General Administration Division with the objective of enhancing personnel capabilities, digital competencies, and professional skills essential for effective performance in an era of rapid technological transformation.
Associate Professor Dr. Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, together with the School’s executive team, recognized the significance of human resource development as a key driving force in advancing organizational excellence. The initiative particularly emphasized the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve operational efficiency, data management, and organizational communication in alignment with the demands of 21st-century workplaces.
The seminar featured Mr. Nopparat Tasara, General Administration Officer from the Institute of Innovation and Technology Transfer, University of Phayao, as the keynote speaker. He delivered practical knowledge and hands-on guidance on AI applications under several key topics, including:
- Effective use of AI for information summarization
- AI-assisted data analysis and information organization
- AI applications for graphic design and creative content production
- The integration of AI applications to support digital-era workflows
In addition, the program included team-building and collaborative learning activities aimed at strengthening unity, interpersonal relationships, and teamwork among personnel. These activities were facilitated by Mr. Krittayot Wongharn, Head of the Integration of Missions, Research and Academic Services Unit, School of Architecture and Fine Arts, University of Phayao, and Mr. Sarawut Kantaphongphet, General Administration Officer, School of Law, University of Phayao.
This initiative reflects the School of Engineering’s commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning, alongside the strategic integration of digital technologies to enhance organizational effectiveness. The project also demonstrates the School’s active role in supporting the University of Phayao’s transformation toward a sustainable and future-oriented digital university.
