The Division of Student Quality Development and Special Affairs, together with the Allied Health Volunteer Club, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, conducted the “Allied Health Volunteer Community Development Project, Academic Year 2025” from 15–18 March 2026 at Ban Mae Suk Nai School, Wang Sai Subdistrict, Wang Nuea District, Lampang Province. The project aims to cultivate public consciousness among students, fostering a spirit of altruism and dedication to the common good, while promoting the integration of professional knowledge into academic service for society. This serves as a vital foundation in developing graduates of high quality, equipped with both moral integrity and social responsibility.
On 15 March 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Sittiporn Suwanmit, Associate Dean for Student Quality Development and Special Affairs, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Allied Health Volunteer Community Development Project, Academic Year 2025,” accompanied by faculty members and staff of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.
The project comprised a wide range of multidimensional activities, encompassing intellectual skill development, environmental improvement, health promotion, and the strengthening of relationships between students and the community. Key activities included school development initiatives such as improving the surrounding landscape, producing health education media and informational boards, and donating clothing, sports equipment, medical supplies, and essential daily necessities for students. In addition, academic service activities were provided, including health and hygiene education for primary school students, recreational activities, and the establishment of community health screening units—allowing students to apply their professional knowledge in a tangible and impactful manner.
Furthermore, the project incorporated activities designed to enhance unity, leadership, and positive relationships among students and between students and the community. These included relationship-building activities, sports events, and campfire gatherings, all of which play a crucial role in nurturing well-rounded student characteristics in both physical well-being and aesthetic appreciation—hallmarks of University of Phayao students.

The “Allied Health Volunteer Community Development Project” represents another significant initiative reflecting the mission of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, in emphasizing student development alongside sustainable academic service to society. This contributes to improving the quality of life of community members in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being), while also strengthening collaborative networks between educational institutions and communities toward the advancement of a sustainable learning society.
