On Sunday, 26 April 2026, the University of Phayao, led by the President, University Council members, and executive team, was graciously appointed as host institution for the Buddhist merit-making and royal prayer ceremony dedicated to the memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, held at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, the Grand Palace, Bangkok.

 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanyatip Kharayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), joined the University's executive delegation to lay a floral wreath, present a charitable contribution as a royal merit offering, and attend the recitation of Buddhist scriptures before the Royal Funeral Urn, all dressed in formal white mourning attire.

 

The school of BCA humbly pays tribute and expresses profound gratitude for Her Majesty's enduring grace and devotion to the Thai people throughout her life.
